Little Tim’s Big Problem
There once was a boy named Tim. Tim
lived in a big city where everything was big and tall. The tree's were big, the
building were big, the people were big, and even the animals were big. Because
of this, the city was called, Bigsvile. Tim was having a big day. It was his
seventh birthday; all his friends were coming to his party.

Tim always love his birthdays. He
knew that with each birthday, he had one birthday wish, and each year his wish
came true. Every year, he wished for a toy, and every time, he got exactly what
he wanted. But this year, he didn’t want a toy, he wanted to become big and
tall. Tim just knew that as soon as he made his wish and blew out the candle on
his birthday cake, he would grow big and tall just like his friends. So Tim
waited patiently for his birthday cake, but lost it, as it seemed the day was
going slower and slower. But it finally came, and Tim set in front of his
birthday cake, smiling from ear to ear. Everyone Tim knew surrounded him and his
birthday cake, waiting for him to blow out the candles. Tim took a deep breath,
closed his eyes, and with a wish and a swish, the lit candles were blown out.
Tim opened his eyes, and looked down at him self and notice immediately that
nothing happened. Tim hadn't even grown an inch. He was devastated. Tim went to
bed that night sad.

Tim awoke the next morning to find that he still hadn't grown even an
inch. He decided to wait and see if he would grow. He went out to play with his
friends but found he was too small to play soccer, the ball was too big. He
tried to swing, but the swings were too big. Tim wanted to play with his friends
but was too small, because of this, he wanted to grow big and tall even more.

A few months went by and Tim still
hadn’t grown even a little. Tim had begun to just walk around all alone. He made
his way down the river where there were pebbles everywhere. Tim picked one of
the pebbles up, and wished upon it. He wished that he would grow big and tall
and then, he threw the pebble into the water.

The moment the pebble hit the water
with a splash; Tim grew from being short, too tall. His arms, legs, and body
grew several feet. Tim was very happy as he jumped up and down full of joy. He
ran home as quickly as he could to show his parents how much he had grown. His
parents smiled at him when he arrived at the front steps, praising him for his
recent growth. Tim walked into the house and helped his mother put away
groceries. As Tim was helping, he quickly found out that he was too short to
reach the top cabinets. He wanted to grow, and he then thought of the pebble.

Tim suddenly grew, he grew and grew in tell he was tall enough to reach
the cabinet with ease. His mother was surprised but happy for him as she handed
him more groceries. After Tim finished, he watched T.V in the family room. He
saw a giant that he wanted to be taller then, and once again, he thought of the
pebble, and grew and grew in tell he was taller than the giant on the T.V. Tim
grew so big, that his parents told him to play outside because he was no longer
able to fit in the family room. Tim
wasn't upset, so he quickly ran to were his friend were and tried to play ball
with them. But his friends wouldn't let him because he was too big. This made
Tim upset, so he walked into the city.

Tim saw an old lady crying for her cat that was stuck in a tree, so he
grabbed the cat and gave it to the old lady. The lady thanked him over and over
again and walked away with her cat in her arms. Tim liked being thanked for
helping people; he thought that if he was even bigger, that he could help even
more. So when Tim saw a billboard, he once again thought of the pebble, and he
grew and grew, in tell he was as tall as the billboard. Tim was taller than most
buildings in the Bigsvile. But because Tim was so big, he accidently broke a lot
of things in Bigsvile. He broke benches, trees, sidewalks and even cars. The
citizens of Bigsvile grew angry and they all got together and rioted Tim out of
town.

Tim was lonely as he sat on the outskirts of town watching the citizens
live happily without him. His parents came to visit him, with food in their
hands. They handed him the food, but Tim found that he was too big for the food
to fill him. His parents cried as they left him alone. He was angry that he was
so big, he just wanted to help.
Not long after Tim was ran out of
town that he saw a fire in a building. The heat was so great that he could feel
it from where he was sitting. Tim rushed back into town and saw that someone was
still in the building. He rushed into the building, breaking a huge hole in the
side. Tim’s body had begun to shrink as he ran further into the building. Tim
knew he better hurry or he might burn in the building to. Tim saw one of his
neighbors in the building screaming. Tim picked her up and ran out of the
building as fast as he could. By the time he came out of the building, he was no
longer big. The pebbles magic wore off of Tim and he was his normal size.

He had carried his neighbors on his
back even though he was small. Tim was soon surrounded by the citizens, who
thanked him. They picked Tim up and walked to his home, where they cheered Tim,
all the way there.
