The Princess Who Didn't Listen

Once upon a time in a land of princesses far, far away. There was a girl named, Jade. Jade was the king's daughter and the princess in charge in the Kingdom of Aces. Since Jade was in charge she often had to sit and the house watch the other princesses and made sure they did everything right. She never had to go out by herself and be alone. Her father forbade her to go out of the palace because it was a dangerous. Jade and her father argued almost everyday about the situation.
“Father, why won’t you let me go to the lake? I will be safe nothing will happen to me.” Jade sat across from her father at his desk.
“The world is dangerous, Jade. What if someone tries to kid nap you or even worse kill you? Then, what will happen to my kingdom? The King said busy signing documents for his appointees.

“Father, nothing will happen. Will you just trust me?
“NO and that’s my finally answer. Strange things happen at the lake and you will not go. Now, go clean your room. The King looked up at Jade.
Jade walked out of her father’s office. She thought to herself “Maybe if I sneak out of the palace ad go down to the lake he will never know.
The next morning, Jade set out on her mission to the lake. She dress in her maid’s clothing and snuck out the palace. She got to the lake and thought it was just beautiful.
The water was the clearest blue she had ever seen. The grass was green with flowers of the rainbow growing out of it. The trees had different fruit growing from every branch.
Jade went to the lake and sat by it. Jade put her feet in the water and felt the cool wetness on her toes. She looked over and seen a frog eating an apple. The frog turned into a handsome young man. She was very amazed at what she seen. Jade thought to herself “I wonder if I eat the apple will I turn into Hannah Montana.”
So, Jade picked the apple from a tree and bit it. The apple transformed her into a hairy donkey. She didn't know she looked like a donkey until she went to her friend, Princess Britney's house. She knocked on the door and Britney answered.

“Who is it? Britney opened the door and looked at the donkey.

“Britney, it's me, Jade.” Jade looked up at Britney.
“What happen to you?” Britney yelled as she opened the door wider.
“What are you talking about?” Jade stepped into the house.
“You're a, you're a donkey.” She looked at Jade with wide eyes.
“I'm a WHAT!” Jade ran to the mirror in Britney's room. “How did this happen?”
“Whatever you did, you need to go undo it right now. If you go home looking like this, your parents will be so mad.” Britney started pacing across her room.
“I only wanted to look like Hannah Montana.” Jade put her head down and started to shake it.
“Hannah Montana. Hannah Montana. Why Hannah Montana? Why not Cinderella or somebody else?
“I don't know. I'm going back to the lake and see if I can find the prince, so he can tell me how to change back into the beautiful princess I once was.”
Jade ran out of the house and ran back to the lake. When she got there the prince was nowhere to be found. Jade sat by the water crying endless tear.
Across the lake, the prince was sitting on his lily pad. He was looking at himself in the mirror. He heard Jade crying and hopped over to her.
“My fair maiden, what is wrong.” The frog looked up at the donkey.
“I bit an apple and it turned me into a donkey. I can’t go back home or my father will be mad at me. I disobeyed him.” Jade started to cry harder.
“That’s terrible.” The prince put a front leg on Jade’s hoof.
Jade looked up to see the frog sitting there talking to her.
“You are the reason that I am this way.” Jade started to get mad.
“What did I do?” The frog took his leg away from the donkey.
“I saw you eating the apple and I thought if I tried to do it, I would turn into Hannah Montana.” Jade started to cry again.
The frog rolled his eyes. “I’m going to tell you how to fix all of this. After I say this spell go to your father and apologize for everything. As soon as you say sorry you will start to turn back into the princess you were before. When you get down come,back to the lake.”
Jade shook her head and agreed.
The frog started to say the words to the spell
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
Boom Kat Boom Boom Kat Kat
Turn this donkey into the girl that she was
Before her father gets upset and does what he does.
When the frog was finished, Jade stood up and ran to the kingdom as fast as she could.
When she got there her father was still in his office. Jade open the door and spoke to him.
“Father, I’m so sorry. I never meant to go to the lake and now I’m a donkey.”

“I told you not to go down there and you disobeyed me. Now look at you. Your a donkey.” Her father got up from his desk.

Jade put her head down “I know, Father. I am sorry.”
“I forgive you sweetie. I knew you were going to go even though I said no.”
“Oh, father.” Jade threw her hoofs around her father and gave him a hug.
When he let go of her, she turned back into a princess. Jade was so happy, she ran back to the lake.
“Mister Frog, where are you?” Jade looked for the frog.
“Here I am.” The frog came hopping up to her.
“Thank you for everything.” She took the frog into her arm and kissed him. She put the frog on the ground and he turned into the handsome young man she had seen earlier.
“You broke my spell.” The prince got down on one knee. “Marry me, you beautiful Princess from the Kingdom of Aces.”
“Yes, Yes.” The princess replied
The Princess and the prince got married a week later and lived happily ever after
