Kacie was the most beautiful Barbie doll ever made. She was most liked and admired by all the toys in Jayden’s room. Jayden had a lot of toys but Kacie was her favorite. Kacie was a birthday present from her grandmother for her fifth birthday. Kacie was specially made just for Jayden. She was tall, with long legs and long brown hair with beautiful green eyes and beauty you can only dream of.

            “Jayden! Time for school, honey!” yelled her mother from downstairs.

            “I’m coming, mom!”

            Jayden kissed Kacie and set her down on her bed. The room was silent.

            “All clear!” yelled a troll from the top shelf by Jayden’s door.

            Kacie stood up from where she was sitting on the bed, “Alright everyone! You heard him, all clear!”

            One by one, toys started to come to life and walk towards the bed where Kacie was. Toys for boys, toys for girls, all toys; any toy you could think of, Jayden had it. Hot wheels cars, dolls, transformers, action figures all came out of their spots in Jayden’s room, walking and talking.

           

 

 

 

 

 

Everyday all the toys had a meeting about up coming events that happened in the house and today’s meeting was about Jayden’s sixth birthday. Jayden’s sixth birthday meant presents and presents meant more and new toys to be added to the room. Kacie was now in charge of all the meetings because she was Jayden’s favorite.

            “All right everyone Saturday is the big day. Jayden’s sixth birthday and we all know what that means.”

            The toys started to cheer and talk amongst themselves, “New toys! New friends!”

            “Now we have to make sure we are good toys and are extremely nice to the new toys when they arrive to make them feel welcomed and right at home. And we all know how it feels to be a new toy, so let’s make the new toys feel great! How ‘bout it?!” Kacie said with a beautiful smile.

            The toys cheered and yelled with joy,

            “Alright, so the count down for Jayden’s birthday begins today. Lego people, you guys are in charge of building a nice welcome building for the new toys.”

            “Got it Kace!” the Lego people said.

            “Dolls, you girls will be in charge of making the welcome banner.”

            The dolls giggled and nodded.

            “Everyone else just be the best toys you can be.”

             

 

 

 

 

 

The days went by as it got closer and closer to Jayden’s birthday. All the toys were in the happiest mood ever. They would sings songs or hum while they all prepared for the big day.
            Finally the big day was here.
            “All right toys, today is the big day and I know you are all as excited as I am.”
            The toys all cheered and began to get into their places. A beautiful welcome building that the Lego people built stood tall on the floor by Jayden’s dresser along with a colorful welcome banner that the dolls colored themselves. Kacie and a few other toys stood on the windowsill watching all the kids come with presents of all shapes and sizes.

 

 

 

 

 

All the toys just waited patiently until the party was over and they could meet the new toys.
            Finally the party was over.
             “Everyone, in your places! The party is over and Jayden will be up here soon with all our new friends!” The room was still and silent.
            “I just love all my new toys!”
            Jayden set down all her new toys in the middle of the floor and began playing with them. She grabbed Kacie and started to play with her as she introduced her to a new Barbie doll. Then she introduced her to a Furby, then a teddy bear, then a superman doll.
            “Honey! Time for your shower”
            “Wait, mom! Just a few more minutes, I wanna play with my new toys!”
            “You can play with the all you want when you’re finished with your shower”
            Jayden put all her toys down and she did as she was told,
            Kacie lay on the floor with her white beautiful smile. She stood up, looking around to see if it was safe to move around. It was all clear.
            “Hi, I’m Kacie! Welcome to Jayden’s room!”

            All the new toys stared at Kacie for awhile. Kacie just smiled at them and guided them to the rest of the toys that were waiting to meet them. They all seemed to get along except for the new teddy bear. He was very shy and kept to himself. All he would do is smile slighty. He seemed so scared. Kacie noticed this and walked up to the new teddy bear.

            “What’s wrong teddy? Why such a long face?”

            The teddy bear just stood there and looked down.

            Kacie knew that all it was, was that he was shy and needed to get used to everyone. So she took teddy by the paw and took him to all the other toys. She just gave all the other toys a nudge and they knew just what to do.

            Once teddy bear took the new teddy bear and took him to all the other toys and they started to play. Even though it took some time for the new teddy to get used to everything, he enjoyed and became good friends with all the toys in Jayden’s room because he was befriended by them all.
