You DonÕt Listen, HoneyÉ

You know how you think you love someone and pray they feel the same way about

you, but most of the time they donÕt? Or when you try your best to do anything to keep them? I mean anything. Well thatÕs what 14 year old Celia Donaldson had to

deal with her freshman year in high school. A lonely girl fresh out of middle school got wrapped up in something she wasn't ready for. She fell hard for Ricardo, a known player around Berkeley High. He saw her and knew she was easy prey, he

wanted to take advantage of her kind nature, like a lion to a lamb. He easily

befriended  Celia, by learning what she liked and whom she hung around.  He meet her freshman year in the library, there first conversation about comic books and hoping to become famous by creating new characters. Celia friends watched them talking and saw what was going on, but didn't want to hurt her feeling. After how old friends betrayed her they weren't so sure that Celia would trust them. They decided to keep a close eye on them both. Celia and Ricardo met up everyday after school and there friendship growing, maybe a little to fast. When they were seen around the school or going to lunch off campus people already assumed that they were already dating. Some of the girls in the school weren't to happy about that. Celia was the quiet girl in class, she always had her nose in a book and kept to herself. A lot of people couldn't figure her out. Jealous girls wanted to see her hurt as much as she did, only because deep down inside they felt the same way. Those girls easily had help with Celia's old best friend Samantha. The one who betrayed her in the first place. Samantha wanted to be popular in school and to do that she needed to spread a rumor about someone. She chose Celia. "Hey everyone guess what?! Celia fucked Spencer Kleigh AND she's having his baby in seven months!" In front of everyone in the cafeteria she spoke this rumor. To finish her off she pointed at a shaken Celia, holding her lunch tray and milk, tears falling down her cheeks. "How does it feel now Celia ?" Samantha smirked while Celia ran out of the cafeteria she tried to avoid the stares and laughter but it was useless. Everyone whispered and when she walked by and she found the words

Cock Sucker on her locker door. She cried and decided not to trust anyone because

they couldnÕt be trusted. Her two new best friends had to earn it in one summer, but they were so close. When school let out they left her in Berkeley alone while they went to camp for a month. Since there was no more school Celia and Ricardo

could kick it more often, actually as much as they could because he was a football

star and she just made the field hockey team. They saw each other at practices

because they had to share the field. Sharing stolen stares and quick hugs while they were aloud a break they quickly got close. Maybe to close. Celia got angry stares every time she walked with Ricardo or alone to the field or when she was going home. One day it  got so bad that at one practice Ricardo had to walk her home because girls were trying to jump her in the girlÕs locker room. He walked a terrified Celia home. She lived a few blocks away from him and it was getting dark pretty soon. He held her hand and walked with her, he  placed his leather jacket on her shoulders. Ricardo made her laugh and forget about her troubles, he really cared about her. He walked her up the stairs and sat on her porch, Celia sat on his lap while they talked. "Celia I really like you and I want you to be my girl, your a special girl and one of a million, please say you'll be my girlfriend" Celia surprised and happy smiled at him and agreed to be his for what she thought would be forever. From then on he held her hand in public, bought her cute and fuzzy teddy bears and candies, sneaking kisses at practice whenever they could, Celia thought they had it all.  There relationship bloomed over the summer, but soon all hell would break loose. Ricardo got to go to camp that last few weeks of summer, leaving poor Celia alone while he went off to have fun. Celia's parents couldn't afford for her to go and her father refused to let her work at the camp so she could go. Instead she got a job at Frosty Freeze, making ice cream for customer who treated her like crap. She and Ricardo facebooked each other every night describing what they were doing and how much they missed each other. Ricardo didn't tell everything they were doing. Celia's all friends were at the same camp as Ricardo and saw what he was really doing. He was screwing around with girls at the camp, her name was Michaela Florence, a foreign girl who wanted to have some fun, with someone elseÕs boyfriend. Half the school was at the camp and they all knew what was going on. Celia's friends were trying to warn her before it spread like wildfire. Her friends sent her a message on facebook that told everything that they saw, plus the picture the took of Michaela and Ricardo. They both felt bad for having to tell them but knew it was the right thing to do. Ricardo didn't know that they'd sent it. He logged into Celia's account that night, and the saw the message. He knew he'd fucked up, but he looked at the message again and it hadnÕt been opened yet. He decided to delete it to save Celia from getting hurt and to save his own ass so no one would figure out what was going on.  He had to think of what to do to convince Celia that her friends were lying so he sent her a message.

Subject: Dear Celia,

Baby I got something to tell you. Its nothing bad but you know your two friends?

Well there spreading rumors about me and this girl named Michaela being together. I just met her and we are just good friends. DonÕt trust what you say and remember that I love you so much and I'm missing you

After he sent the message he went down to the cabin where Celia's friends were to confront them, but they werenÕt there. Some of the girls in their cabin told them they were headed for the woods to take a night hike on Mt.Florence. He headed up towards the woods devising a plan to make sure his friends didnÕt tell Celia anything else.  On the way up he thought "Should I choke them? No I could leave a mark..hehe. Should I beat them in the head with a rock or a big tree branch. Even if I did any of this how would I make sure I donÕt get caught. hmm" He thought as he walked farther and farther into the woods.  About a half an hour later he found the two of them sitting by a campfire roasting marshmallows and talking about a loser they both thought was gorgeous. He snuck up and decided what weapon he would use towards the girls. He felt his body relax and the guilt quickly ease away. In his mind he was doing this to keep the love of his life Celia with him forever. Grabbing the sharpest and heaviest rock he stood in a stance, like getting ready to throw a football and aimed it at Amy( Celia's friend). He threw the rock as hard as he possibly could and hit his target with ease. Amy's skull was bashed in by the rock and her body slowly slumped over onto Judy( Celia's other friend), the rock lodged into her head and blood rushing out as if someone turned on a faucet.  In complete shock Judy shot up looking up to see who or what the threat was. Ricardo hid in the bushes plain out of sight. Judy began screaming for help and Ricardo knew he had to act fast. Running at full speed he tackled Judy down, holding his hand over his mouth. He sat over her and contemplated what he wanted to do to her. Looking up at him in fear tears filling up her eyes she squirmed under him, pleading with her eyes to let her go. Then it hit him. They were on a mountain and since they were so far away from the campsite no one would hear her scream and it would be hard to find her and Amy. He looked at her, with eyes that didnÕt even seem human anymore as he pulled her onto her feet. "Listen Judy, I'm going to let go of your mouth and when I do you better not scream". Judy nodded slowly, waiting for her first chance to get away from Ricardo.  He let go of her mouth and she screamed as loud as she could. He panicked and grabbed her mouth again, "I TOLD YOU ASS NOT TO SCREAM YOU STUPID BITCH!" He dragged her to the edge of the cliff and slowly inched her off.  "See Judy look what you made me do! First you and your skanky friend try to send Celia a message about what I'm doing then you sit here eating marshmallows acting like you did nothing wrong! Ugh I hate girls like you!!" He held Judy by her hair over the cliff and prayed that someone would figure out what happened to her. A split second later Judy felt her body falling, but she didnÕt scream. She knew her fate and accepted it. As she fell she looked up at Ricardo. He had a devilish smile  as he watched her limp body drop, and the blank look in her eyes. He knew what he done and was okay with it. Judy's eyes were wide open and blood surrounded her body, through her ears and bloody tears coming out of her eye sockets.

At the end of the summer everyone knew what happened to Judy and Amy and no one knew why. Ricardo acted so damn calm around everyone. He'd even got emotional when everyone brought up the two and how they'd died. "Oh my goodness how could someone do something so horrible to those two, they were the sweetest girls!" He'd overheard a crowd of girls say. It was the last day of camp everyone was getting on the bus. Ricardo sat next to Michaela on the bus ride home without a care in the world. He knew Michaela was going back to Switzerland as soon as the bus brought everyone back but he was wrong. He said good bye to her and for what he thought would be the last time he'd ever see her. The new school year began and things were back to normal for Ricardo and Celia. His football career was going great  and Celia was doing well for a first year field hockey player. Celia was upset that she'd lost her friends but from the message Ricardo sent her on Facebook she felt less sympathetic. Once again things were getting a bit bizarre well for Ricardo at least. Michaela Florence enrolled in Berkeley High that same year. Celia was the first person she'd met and became friends with. Secretly she knew that she'd had Ricardo over the summer and wanted him to be hers for good. She knew if she'd befriended her it would be easier to get him, yeah she was that devious. Celia finally introduced her to Ricardo, not knowing that they'd already knew each other, and though that her new best friend would love her boyfriend. She didnÕt know how right she was. The trio began hanging out together and they all seemed pretty close. While Celia was at home doing homework and studying she didn't know that Ricardo was burying his bone in Michaela every other night. It started getting obvious when they were a little affectionate in class. Once she sat on his lap the day that Celia was out with a cold. Everyone knew that Celia and Ricardo were together but he had Michaela on the side. One of her classmates in her 3rd period took a picture of them that day and sent it to her on facebook as anonymous. Celia saw this and tears streamed down, partly because she was more angry than upset. She trusted Michaela and thought Ricardo loved her. She deleted it but wanted to print out the picture so she could confront him, but saw a unread message Amy and Judy sent her the summer before there sophomore year began. She read it and knew that her friends were trying to protect her, she suddenly felt guilty. The next day of school she'd went to school on a mission. To make Michaela pay and to hurt Ricardo as much as he'd hurt her. First and second period she acted as if everything was okay. But third she went to class and her whole attitude changed. She sat quietly in the corner, holding the facebook message and the picture. She waited for Michaela to sit beside her and she slapped her with so much force that her tooth flew out of her mouth and hit the wall. After she waited for Ricardo to come, while Michaela sat in utter shock. Celia pulled out a razor and waited but he never came. The late bell rang and she left the class, running toward a bathroom stall. She took off her backpack and began writing a note

Ricardo,

You hurt me and hid it from me since you went to camp and even now with my supposedly best friend. You hurt me more than anyone ever has. I wouldnÕt be surprised if you'd gotten rid of Judy in Amy just to keep the secret well. your going to loose me and I hope that you and M are happy together. But I do want to thank you. You just showed me that I'm unlovable and naive, and you took the only people who actually cared about me. I hope you suffer as much as I'm going to. Good Bye..

                                             -Celia Donaldson

she placed the letter at her side and put the razor on her wrist. She slowly dug into her flesh. She winced from the pain and cut deeper and deeper. She saw her veins severed. She cried as she saw the blood come down, not from the pain but because she was ending all of her suffering. Her body slumped over a bit and her blood was leaving a trail in the linoleum bathroom floor. She laid there smiling. "I finally feel happy, so damn happy..." A girl next to her in a stall noticed the blood running into her shoes. Peeking under she saw CeliaÕs limp body slumped over,

her eyes rolling in the back of her head. In a panic she called Disel for help.

Thinking that the girl was being funny he walked in, knocking on the bathroom

stall. ÒIs anyone bleeding in there?Ó No response. ÒIÕm coming in there little lady

so please be decent. He clipped the lock off and there Celia was, her face pale and

her body just laying there. Something was odd though.  Celia had a smile on her face and the lines on her face as if she was crying. Disel checked  her for a pulse

but they had to hurry. There wasnÕt a lot of time to save her. The ambulance can in placing CeliaÕs body on a flat bed and trying to hold her wrists to stop the bleeding. They came out with her body on the flat bed, the bell rang for the next period. Ricardo saw his girlfriend as the paramedics did there best to rush her out of the building. He stood there and just watched. When she was out of sight he still

stood there, tears ran down his cheeks. Everyone saw the scene and turned their heads. They all knew what heÕd done to push her to that point and knew now that heÕd have to suffer for his deeds. Even the ones that could make his fate as grim

as CeliaÕs, JudyÕs, and Amy.
