Mary and Michel shared a special bond and it was put to the test when Michael went to the East Coast to further his studies. Mary wrote him every year. Michael came back       from the East Coast after four years, and Mary was excited.

When Michael first comes back in town he took his bags to his motherÕs house. When       he finished, he went straight to meet Mary. Their love was fully supported by MaryÕs     mom Ann who is happy and full of joy.

ÒMary I heard Michael is back in town and you will see if it is true if he drops by to see   youÓ Ann says.

ÒHe probably doesnÕt remember who I am.Ó she said to her mom.

ÒOf course he will.Ó How could he forget about you when you guys grew up together?Ó

Some one knocked on the door.

ÒI think this is MichaelÕ Ann said.

Mary ran to her room while her mom opened the door and saw a tall handsome guy           standing dressed up in a black suit and black hat.

            ÒMichael.Ó

ÒYou have grown up so much.Ó Ann said.

Michael gave a warm hug to Ann and asked, ÒWhere is Mary?''

ÒMary is feeling shy so she ran to her room when she found out you came. You are more then welcome to go meet her upstairs in her room.ÕÕ

Michael went upstairs and knocked on the door. He goes in and sees her lying down in      her room.

ÒI came back to see you and your still hiding from me?Ó

ÒWhy does it matter? You never called or wrote not one letter.Ó

            Mary responded.

ÒI felt that I shouldnÕt have to write because while I was there you were all I was thinking            about.Ó

Mary didnÕt care about what he said so she continued to lie under her pillow. Michael left            and said heÕll try again tomorrow. In the mean time Michael goes to his house to go see     his mom. His mom is mad because he saw Mary before her. He walks over to his mother        and says,

ÒSo Mom you donÕt want talk to me.Ó

            ÒNo leave nowÕÕ.

ÒOk,Ó Michael said ÒdonÕt call me when you need something.Ó

At that moment his mom knew she was wrong so she told him to stay. To make    everything better they gave each other a hug.

Later on that night Mary decided to give Michael a call and see what he was doing. She                  him over for tea and cookies. Michael showed up with flowers and candy and when         Mary saw that she grabbed him and gave him a big hug and kiss. They both went to   needed to tell her.

She opened her mouth and said

ÒYes. What is it that you need to tell me? Ò

ÒI donÕt think that this is going to work out between us.Ó

            What do you meanÓ?

Mary stood there in silence looking puzzled waiting for Michael to give an answer.

ÒWell is not that I donÕt want to be with you, but I want to get into the business life.ÕÕ

Mary wasnÕt quite sure so she asked.

            ÔÕWhat do you mean?ÕÕ

He told her that being in a relationship was not helping him financially so he want to go   further but outside of their relationship.

ÒIs it some one else?Ó Mary asked with tears. She ran down the stairs and screamed to her            ÒMom Michael is leaving me!Ó

As soon as her mother heard this she yelled to Michael.Ó ÒMichael why donÕt you want to be with Mary anymore?Ó Michael stands there with his head down and his hands in his pocket. Mary stands next to him and says

ÒMichael you know that I love you and I will do anything to make you happyÓ                             Ann stood next to Michael and said

ÒyouÕre the only boy that I ever call my sonÕÕ why are you doing this?Ó are you trying to             destroy me and my daughters heart?Ó The three of them just stood there in silence until they heard a knock came to the door. Police! Police!

             ÒYes!Ó

Ann said as she opened the door.

Hi my name is Officer Joe and IÕm looking for a man named Michael. His mother said I can find him here. At that moment Mary started crying because she didnÕt know what was going on.

Michael came to the door and the police arrested him. He knew why he was getting arrested b,ut he didnÕt want Mary to ask so he asked for her.

            ÒWhy am I getting arrestedÓ?

             ÒYouÕre under arrest for robbery.Ó

Ann and Mary stood there both crying tears of disappointment. As they saw the police   put him in the car MichaelÕs last words were

ÒIÕm sorry you had to see thisÓ.

They took him away. Later on that evening Ann received a phone call from MichaelÕs      mother. She answered and said

            ÒHelloÓ

ÒIÕm sorry about what happened.Ó  His mother said.            ÒItÕs ok. IÕll tell Mary to call you a little laterÕÕ

. So when they hung up,  Ann told Mary to call MichaelÕs mother later. Around 9:30, she received a call from Michael was. She answered and yelled over the phone,

ÒThis is the reason why you wanted to leave meÓ?

             ÒYes.Ó He replied.

ÒI didnÕt want you to be involved in what I was going through.Ó

ÒWhat the hell you mean?Ó ÒI have known you for so many years.Ó

Ann hung up the phone and yelled in her pillow. She didnÕt know what to do now that she was single, so she stayed home and stressed out over Michael.

Her mom came in the room and told her,

ÒIÕm sorry sweetie. Maybe this is a sign letting you know that you have to move onÓ.

In that sense of the moment a smile came across MaryÕs face.

ÒYour right mom. I think IÕm just going to move on and live my life. If itÕs meant to be then me and Michael will get back together in the future.Ó

Three months passed on and Mary decided to go out with her friends. They all decided to go to the mall to shop. So she met up with her friends and they were soon having fun. As they entered the mall Mary automatically spotted a tall black boy that stood 6Õ2 had wavy hair.

Her friends started laughing because she was drooling and couldnÕt take her eyes off him. Suddenly the boy noticed that Mary was looking at him, so he walked over and approached her.

             ÒHi. My name is Jonathan.Ó

Mary was lost in words as she stuttered her name. Her friends said her name was Mary. He quickly grabbed her hand and wrote his number on it. After the big moment they went on and started shopping.

Later that evening Mary told her mom that she got a number from the mall and her mom              said

ÒWhat are you waiting for? Go call him.Ó

Mary rushed to her room and called Jonathan. He answered the phone and said

            ÒHello Mary saidÓ

            ÔHi.Ó

You gave me your number at the mall.

ÒOh yeah.Ó ÒHow old are you MaryÓ?

            . Ò19Ó ÔÕhow old are you Jonathan?Ó

            Ò21.Ó

They both sat on the phone in awkward silence until a call came on the other end of          MaryÕs line.

            ÒHold on JonathanÓ

.She clicked over and said Hello!

            ÒBaby.Ó

            She heard MichaelÕs voice say.

ÒWhy are you calling me you jail bird?Ó

            ÒI love you.Ó

ÒNo you donÕt cause if you did you wouldnÕt be in thereÓ

            ÒIÕm sorry. Please forgive me?Ó

ÒIÕm on the other line. Bye.Ó

She clicked back over to Jonathan and said, Sorry about thatÓ

            ÒWho was thatÓ?

She didnÕt want to tell him it was her ex boyfriend so she told him it was a .friend. Mary and Jonathan were on the phone for hours but later realized they didnÕt have anything in common. Both of them agreed that they shouldnÕt talk anymore.

Later that night Mary told her mom what happened and, they  both agreed that she should continue to look for her prince charming. The next morning Mary looked at her caller ID and realized that Michael number popped up. She answered and said

            ÒHelloÓ

            ÒHey baby. IÕm home.Ó

ÒWhat do you mean your home? I thought you had 8 years?Ó

             ÒThey put me on parole.Ó

Michael hung up on Mary and decided to show up at her house.

That afternoon Michael went over to MaryÕs and tried to work things out with her. She didnÕt want to be with him anymore, so she told him not to waste his time. He left her house with no shame. A few days passed by and Michael started acting up.  He started selling weed, carrying guns, getting into fights, and living a life that you wouldnÕt think he would live. Mary found out what he was doing and told him to his face

ÒIÕm glad that I left youÓ.

Michael didnÕt care what she said, so he continued to do what he was doing.

Later in the week Mary realized that she needed to work things out with Michael so she   decided to give him a call.

            ÒHello MichaelÓ

ÒHey Mary. How are you doing?Ó

            ÒGood and yourself?Ó

            Ò good

ÒI need to be real with you, Mary. I miss you a lotÓ.

ÒI miss you to. We should meet up and talk things out.Ó

Michael decided that he would be the bigger person and go meet Mary. So they met up and went to DennyÕs. They wanted to make their night special, so they decided they were going to sleep at MichaelÕs house. After DennyÕs they went straight to MichaelÕs house. His mom was shocked to see them together so she asked,

ÒSo you guys decided to work things outÓ?

ÒYes. We realized that we are meant to be and nobody can tear us apart.Ó Michael             responded.

His mom agreed and let them in.

When they got in MichaelÕs room she went straight to his play station.

She loved to play it, so every time she went over there she would be play the game           for hours and when he asked for it she wouldnÕt give it up. Michael wanted to ask Mary   a question but didnÕt know how to so he just came out with it. ÒMary, do you love meÓ?

ÒOf course. If I didnÕt I wouldnÕt be here.Ó

At that moment they realized their love was real and decided to work things out.
